Sorry I don't. This was a custom exhaust from Royal Muffler.

Thanks. The BMW dealership seems to suggest that they need to do the mod in order to ensure warranty validity. Did you ask your contact about your mod? I'm going to use your pics as a model for my exhaust!

BMW does not have any exhuast systems for our car so I'm not sure what they're going to warrenty. Are they talking about workmanship? My system has a V clamp so I can bolt my OEM back on in 10 minutes.

I guess the idea was that outside customization could potentially negatively impact a BMW and thus affect the overall warranty if something was to go wrong.

i know everyone will think i am trying to pretend i own a 535 but honestly i just prefer the look... Is there ANY way i can mod the exhaust on a 525 to be something like that? I would be happy with two single pipes either side

Don't worry it's your car do what you like. Here's a link of a member with a new lci E90 who converted to quads from a single sided oem exhaust. It's fully fuctional as well. I checked under my car and you have room to do this as well. You just need a shop you can trust.

you can either set up a dummy dual sided exhaust with quad tips...or you can wait for a company to release an actual quad set-up....but any competent exhaust shop should be able to manufacturer a dual side set up for you, now if you want actual performance gains...that's a different story...but for pure cosmetics, should not be hard to do....

I'm heading to Munich first week of Oct and cant wait to get this car back to the states. Does anyone know if my car will be any louder if I have cosmetic quad tips welded to my OEM mufflers? I want that look without changing the sound.

Nice talking to your today. I'm sure Jimmy @ Royal Muffler can take care of you. Can't tait to see what you plan to do. The 550 tips really don't do it for me

Thanks for taking the time to speak to me! That was really awesome of you. I know you said there is not much difference in sound. I need to get the car and listen to the sound pre mod and then listen to your clips to see if I can tell how big of a difference there is. Has anyone else on the forum compared the sound clips post-mod with their OEM 2011 535i exhaust sound?

Glad to hear it's smooth sailing now but just out of curiosity. Did you notice the drone by test driving it before leaving the shop or did you notice it at a later time and then had it fixed??

Just asking because I am getting mine done as well, and I would like to know how to handle the situation. Thanks.

Nope I noticed it right away. I thought I would be able to handle it but that wasn't possible. To avoid the drone don't go with race mufflers but something more conservative. If you're going to Royal Muffler then Jimmy will now what to do.

I am a new to the whole exhaust and muffler world. I just told Jimmy I wanted to add a little sound to my exhaust system. I know he is going from the rear axle back and he is using a Magnaflow muffler and I will have very similar if not the same as your exhaust staggered tips, except mine is dual tips not quad. What's really important to me is NOT having drone, do you think a Magnaflow muffler is conservative enough or should I go another route?? what do you suggest? Jimmy is not starting on it until Monday.

Thanks again, I appreciate your input.
