Do these have the correct ///M engraved tips on them, its hard to tell from the photos.

Also why does one of them have a rust on the hangers, while the other is relatively clean?

He lives in PA and if he has 38k miles on the mufflers that will explain the rust. Salt and snow is not going to be friendly on exhaust systems.

I grew up in NH, I know what the NE winter salt does... My question was why only ONE of them has rust on it.

Looking closer the ///M tips are missing, those appear to be the stock tips. Tips are $110ea, and the clamping bushes are $60ea.

I want this, but I think I've got to pass given the condition and incomplete offering. GLWS!

Hi All,

I cleaned up the mufflers tonight and posted new and more pictures of different angles (same link as before - https://goo.gl/photos/giaewUVE3V146seX9)

I am selling BMW Part # 18302354362 (retail is $1480).

I do not have M tips or the clamps. BMW does not even include these in the part number mentioned above, nor for the $1480 price. BMW prices them separately.

There are tips included, which are the stock BMW tips.

The surface rust on the muffler hanger is on the right side. My only guess is that salt and water puddle on the right side of the road, compared to the left. So this side is exposed to salty conditions more. Regardless, it is minor surface rust on the hanger, which I have cleaned up with a wire brush as you can see in the updated pics. The muffler itself is stainless steel, which won't rust.

I will pack, box and ship for the pair for $50 to the continental US. So the first $550 takes these mufflers and tips.
