**Update Page 2** Wrapped, slammed and powder coated! Canadian F10 part deuce

Update page 2

I've done a few new mods for the new season.

Gloss black powder coated wheels, 21" niche monotech
Gloss cement gray car wrap
And I may have cut the springs a little more…

CKS is about to release the AWD coil overs, you can bet I am on the waiting list.

Version 1 last summer

Version 2 wheel color and cut!!

Version 3 wrapped!

I gotta tell u those 21's fit well! So did you have 20's before and any significant difference when u went with 21's? really debating on going 21's but I bet tire prices cost more? If you don't mind me asking what size did you run up front/rear? Thanks!

How did the the coil cutting affect the ride quality?

It looks really good that low, any rubbing? How much did it cost to do the coil cutting.

Cutting springs can be very dangerous, I had a friend who did it & the springs snapped in two pcs while driving, luckily it didn't happened at high speed.

I know I sound like a party pooper, but yes get Coilovers if u like the slammed look or drive carefully.

Plus cutting the coils ur taking somewhat of the load index off the coils and making it work harder. Plus ur shocks I could imagine won't last as long. Everyone did this back in my import days...looked sweet but the ride quality sucked!

The ride isn't bad, a little bumpy but I've driven much worse, it does however rub on big dips, I need the roll the fenders.

I know every one is freaking out about the cut springs but like I said above I'm waiting on the coilovers to be released. As of now no one makes coils for the AWD.

Besides Habs flag in the first photo , lots to like about your car.

I just don't understand the need to go that low. I find that it "cheapens" otherwise classy looking car.

Just my taste but even on Lowering springs the gap between the fender and wheel still looks huge to me. When u can close the gap to even a finger or less makes the vehicle look even more aggressive! I hear fellow members complain that even after springs that it's still not low enough.

Do you have pic from another angle or lighting? I'd like to see the wrap color more. From the pics it looks white than gray. Thx

Sticky, would you still have rubbing if you didn't cut the coils or maybe ET35 on the rears?

I rolled the rear fenders on my first car as a teenager but definitely wouldn't recommend rolling the fenders on an F10 unless you're not the least bit concerned about immediately devaluing its resale price. Wouldn't you be better off doing an adjustment to the camber? At least that's reversible whereas rolled fenders aren't.

BTW, no doubt about it ... it does look great
