based on manual there should be a Equalizer setting when you go to tone. I dont see it in my idrive menu, does that mean I dont have the premium sound system? I thought it did since it came with the sirius radio opt for 1 yr. Thanks

Satellite radio comes with Premium Sound but it is also available as a stand alone option. Check your vehicle spec sheet. It should clearly indicate if Premium Sound is included.

If you have the HiFi Professional system with 16 speakers and Dirac Sound Processor, included in Premium Package 2 - Yes, you should then have the Eq settings in iDrive, Tone menu.

Previously, BMW manuals would indicate if a feature was an options, but now all features are listed in the manual without indication. So, because the manuals lists something doesn't mean you have it. I have the standard stereo and there is no equalizer.
