Hey guys, does anyone have any experience with upgrading/retrofitting your Pre-LCI Msport steering wheels to the rounder LCI Msport steering wheel? Obviously I know I'll have to swap the airbag to the smaller round one but is this a simple plug and play swap? I tried doing a search but couldn't find anyone else who has done it already. Went to the dealers and they naturally said it couldn't be done. Their solution was for me to buy a newer LCI version car all together. LOL. Obviously that's not going to happen since I'm quote happy with my current car already.

So, in other words, I have this style steering wheel:

And wish to swap it to this style steering wheel:

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

i have the same question and is the new one smaller ?
Just came from the dealer and sat in a 2015 with the new wheel. it seems smaller and I kind of like it.

I can't help you specifically with the F10 but I know from first hand experience that it is just a straight swap (other than the airbag) for the F30.

I would imagine the same would apply for the F10.

I plan to do this as well. Once I have enough fund to buy the airbag, I can complete the parts list. I think sourcing the air as is the most difficult thing in this swap.
