Front Plate Removal Help

Hey guys,

When I purchased my F10, the dealer had already had the front plate set up with the whole kit. How can I get this removed and the holes patched without having to buy a new bumper. Has anyone else here done this? Advice?

Thank you

Couple of screws hold the bracket in place. Unscrew them and take the bracket off.

Then take your car to a body shop and get the holes filled.

All of this is a very straight fw / simple process.

when I bought my car the front bumper was scuffed, so the dealer had a "to do" work order with the purchase to repaint my front bumper. they installed the front plate with 4 screws!!!!! so when they repaired the bumper I had them fill the holes and make it new again. then I got a tow hook holder.

That's another smart way to address the matter but I don't think it is an option for the OP.

My Dealer, BMW Seattle, told me that they would not install a front plate on a car unless it is specifically asked by the customer. (WA State requires both plates) For once, a smart enough dealer that let's customer make that decision!

when I bought mine they had the front plate installed as well, 2 screws, bought from bumper plugs, they matched the paint code and fit snug to the bumper. cheaper alternative than having it patched and repainted.

I asked them to NOT put the front plate bracket on. They made me sign a paper stating that I would fasten the bracket and put it on! Of course I didn't!
