Looking for remote coding
I would like to have my car coded with a few options. I hear that some guys do offer remote coding functionality. What will I need on my side?
Applications wise and hardware wise?

You'll need everything you would if you were going to code the car by yourself plus a remote access program. So basically you need:
Copy of E-Sys and working token ENET Cable PSDZData for your cars integration level Copy of EDIABAS/BMW Standard tools Teamviewer or similar program. Once you have everything the coder can remote into your machine and code your car... or you could read up on the process and skip the middle man. Sean |

Alex@Alpine is a great resource and probably has a few extra tools at his disposal. If you want to go this route I wouldn't say it's a bad choice. If you aren't hands on, I would definitely tell you to go this route!
Now, on the DIY route (read: Low to no cost), there's a few additional steps required. Sean |

No problems. The great thing about Alex is; he's an established vendor who is in it for the long term. If your car gets updated through the dealership, he can recode the car for you.
