Both Msport and Non-Msport are good looking cars. Just buy whatever you desire. We are all different people and will have different tastes.

IMHO having the standard seats on a "sport BMW anything" is LAME! But then, that's just me.
The Multi-contour seats were the best part of the sport package.

What design was first approved by the board at BMW AG. The 5 series regualar bodystyle. I am sure M sport was then approved.

I like the M sport on the M5. But you are right, its particular taste.

On the f10, I am on the fence since I like the sport. But the m sport has the better interior bar none.

The "M Sport" is now basically just an appearance package (think MBZ) and I think the poor thing is just way too whored out with "M" logos everywhere including the door sills. I love the front fascia, black headliner and trim though!

I highly suggest anyone ordering one to make sure you do whatever it takes (cut out something else) to get the Multi Contour seats. The standard seats are really cheap and I really regret not getting the MC with Nappa on mine.

what is the 4 way steering... is that active handling? or DHP?

It's 4-wheel steering, not 4-way, and is also called integral active steering. At low speed, less than 30 mpg, a small turn of the steering wheel results in a greater response by the front wheels. At low speeds, it also causes the rear wheels to turn in the opposite direction which is supposed to make the car feel like it has a shorter wheel base so the car is more maneuverable. At higher speeds above 50 mph, both front and rear wheels turn in the same direction, which makes the car feel like it has a longer wheel base. This is especially nice when changing lanes or passing at highway speeds. This option was not part of the sports package but I thought it would be nice to have on the twisting roads we have here on the Big Island. I am glad I made that decision. The things I like that came with the sports package are the multi-contour seats, the thicker steering wheel, and the 19-inch V-spoke wheels. Once you experience those seats, the standard seat is so lame.

I love the sports package, but for me it's too expensive.

Upon seeing this comment, BMW has given a press release saying that they are to rename the multi-contour seats, "Multi-color seats," to improve brand image as it pertains to the diverse world.

Yeah. If you don't spring for the Multi-Contour and Nappa ($2300) you get these standard seats.

Granted they are very very comfy but not as solid, sporty and upscale as the MC/Nappa. The M5 seats are another level above even that I believe.

Is it possible to just change a non-msport 550i's front bumper to an msport one?
