I too have Imperial Blue and even though I ordered the black grilles I'm still on the fence about replacement. If I do replace them, I will however keep the chrome ring and just replace the slats with black. Does anyone have any good photoshop skills? Look at my photo at the beginning of this thread.

I thought the grill was all one piece? I agree if I ever go for black it will be the M5 style, chrome ring.

Did you use the "grip it and rip it technique" to remove the grille? I ended up cutting the slats out on my old F10 to remove the grille, since it was in there so good. But, I'm just wondering what the best approach is with the F06. I'm swapping my chrome one out for a glossy black, with chrome accents.

Thanks!

Black grill all day. Make sure you get rid of that chrome grill around the black girl. Check the My F10 post and the grill on there.

I have been thinking about it for my car, since it is white with gloss black trim it will look good, but because it's an M-performance car, it has signature titanium and chrome grilles, and titanium mirror caps.

I have thought about going with gloss black grilles, and white mirror caps, but removing the signature parts feels a little wrong, so I am not sure what to do.

I used plasti dip on my grills. I have attached a photo.

I recorded my DIY on Youtube.

Whilst they are matte at the moment, I have purchased some glossifer and will bring out the shine look.
