Will LCI grill fit pre-LCI?

I wonder if the new F10 LCI grill will fit the pre-LCI. Do anyone know?

Also curious if the black performance LCI grill is available yet or if someone's got the part number(s).

No difference between pre and LCI grills.

Except that the pre LCI has 12 slats and the LCI M sports version has 10.

Thanks! Since BMW has released the Performance parts for the F10 M5 LCI, do you know if they have released Performance parts for the F10 LCI as well? Took some time before the black grill became available last time, should be quicker now.

Sorry I don't know when they'll be available. If it fitted you might consider fitting the LCI M5 grill (without the Logo). I think someone on the forum has already done that.

Mine are on order from my local BMW parts dept .... I'll soon find out if they fit my 2014 550xi

Yeah, I really like the double slatted M5 LCI grill as well, but as far as I've been informed, removing the M5 badge will leave a hole in one of the slats. Believe this will require some (expensive) modification to fix. And keeping the M5 badge on a non-M5 car is not my style (wannabe).

From a straight forward angle, I think the M5 LCI grill look a bit too "open" as well, but from a side view it's definitely better looking. So the normal LCI grill will do for me as soon as it's released in gloss black

If you somehow find a way to remove the M5 badge without leaving a hole in one of the slats, please let me know if you don't consider keeping the badge. Would be more natural on a 550i than my 520d

It comes without the emblem ... the emblem is an additional part # which I did not order.

will do ... the grilles wont be available to ship from Germany until next week ... so it will probably be another 2 weeks ... but i'll upload once I get them.

You sure about that? All the accessories (Black Grilles) indicate 528/535/550/M5 Fitment.

I would think that is incorrect. We shall see soon enough.

They will fit. I'm still waiting for mine. My parts guy knows his stuff. The '14 M6 shape is different.
