So what would you consider be a good deal for '14 535 with MSRP: $66K?
$0 down/36months/12k miles?
The "good deal" is what you negotiate in terms of MSRP v. Sales Price. The money factor and residual values are not negotiable ... however if you put down 7 months MSDs ... you are putting a "down-payment" to reduce the money factor (interest rate) ... but you will get 100% of the $$ back at the end of the lease (assuming you don't default on the lease) ... whereas a down-payment is just an up-front payment of the "rent" for the vehicle, and you get nothing back at the end of the term of the lease.

7 MSDs will result in a money factor of 0.00078 instead of 0.00127.

12k = 60% residual = $39600
MF = .00127 (without MSDs) 3.07%
36 month lease

MSRP = $66000
Sale Price = $60700
$1000 Ultimate Drive Coupon
Net Price = $59700
Tax = 6.5%
$0 down = $745/month
$1500 down = $705/month

$0 down w/o $1000 incentive = $775/month
$0 down w/o $1000 incentive = $730/month
12k = 60%? Where you get this I ordered MY14 10k = 60%

I just got email from dealer saying they will do invoice on custom build '14 535, MSRP $66,500
Looks like invoices on '14 are still hard to find so I did my own math:

Based MSRP is $55,100 than invoice is $50,692
Options invoice $9,532.25

So based on 92% of the base MSRP and plus 91% of MSRP for packages and options my invoice is:
$50,692 + $9,532.25 + $925 = $61,150

MSRP = $66500
Sale Price = $61150
Tax = 6.5%
36 months/10k miles
$1600 down = $765/month - all fees are in

Is this seems like a good deal '14? Any comments welcome!

That's strange. I am sure the residual on a 2014 535i for 3yr/10k miles is 62%.

That means 12k is 61% and 15k is 59%

I don't think so. I have never heard of that. When you ask some dealer forum members for MF/residual they never ask you your location. The rates are national.

They must be regional ... it would make sense as to why we have all been offered different rates.

Sale Price, MF and RV? I would say thats a lot of $$ to put down - also 2328+750+725+105 = total 3908 not $4159, where extra 250 came from?

The extra $250 was Tire tax and doc fees etc.. Will get back to you on the MF and Residual costs.

I was wondering if you could help me what kind of deal this would be?

This is the first time I am buying a car in the US as I am helping my parents who just moved there so I am a bit confused with all the charges etc. even though I have done quite a bit of research.

It's a pretty basic 2014 528i with M-Sport and Premium package.
Dealer has this in their lot so we could pick it up right away.

2014 528i
BASE MSRP $49,500
M Sport $3,150
Alpine White $0
Leather Dakota Venetian Beige exclusive stitching $0
Dark wood trim $0
Premium Package $2,600
Destination charge $925
Total MSRP $56,175

Retail price $57,170 (incl. $995 dealer equipment)
Preferred customer savings -$995
Dealer added accessories (nitrogen policy and perma plate) $948
Sub-Total $57,123
Sales tax (6%) $3,477.39
Total fees (service fee, registration, tag, etc) $1,183.50
Total $61,783.89
Dealer offer is $58,500

Thanks a lot!

Invoice on that configuration is approximately $51,698 including destination.
The invoice also includes $380 for MACO and $180 for Training fees bringing the total to $52,258. What is the service fee? Sounds like maybe a garbage fee.
I would aim for invoice plus your addons, tax, registration, etc. just ballparking it, I would try to get the dealer down another $800 to $1,000 which would be a good deal. However, I got my 2014 535i at $1,000 under invoice so it is possible to go even lower.
Also, I don't think the 528i MSport comes with the MSport suspension like the 535 & 550 do, if that matters to you.

That was straight negotiated Sale price without any incentives like loyalty, turnkey, UDI..?
If yes, than $1K Under invoice is execellent deal on '14!

Yes that was the sales price prior to any incentives. If you live in California or an adjacent state, let me know and I can put you in touch with my Dealer.

Hi Sonic,

You seem to have gotten a steal! I tried to message you, but apparently my account is too new and I don't have the ability. I'm in the Socal region and looking for a 2014 535i or 535d as well. If you wouldn't mind to message me I'd appreciate it.

Looks like they selling you at invoice, may do better, like $500 or even $1k according to post above as a straight negotiated Sale price without ANY incentives or rebates and use them to even lower your Sale Price. Also, Destination charge is included in MSRP, not sure why you listed as stand alone, did you mean Acq fee, which is $725?

Sorry, that's acquisition fee of $925, which is what the dealer is charging.
