It cost to floss bro. BTW, ebay has diffusers from US sellers. If you dont want to get China/Taiwan products. Hamann style front spoiler from them.

LET ME JUST SAY RIGHT OFF THE BAT I AM PISSED OFF!!!! i purchased a diffuser from JL-Motoring.com and the guy called me and pretty much sold me on the quality and that it cost 600$ for a replica cause of materials they use and perfect fitment blah blah.... i received it and left my car at the shop to swap diffusers for me and paid them and they call me to tell me the diffuser has GAPS EVERY CORNER and that it wont fit normally..... now JL motoring is telling me to use their shipping label to return it but im still assed out on install money..... honestly im just disappointed... cost to floss these nuts

I had a similar experience with JL-motoring on a carbon fiber quad diffuser for my 535i. The quality was simply horrible. It was a Hamann replica. The vent opening and edges of the exhaust port openings were roughed out painted fiberglass (not carbon fiber). The outer edge of the corners were unfinished and scuffed up. It had these thin metal strips that ran through the pushpin holes of the bumper. Once you pushed the metal tab through the hole you bent it with your fingers up against the inside face of the bumper to hold the diffuser in place.
I called JL-motoring and explained that I wanted a refund. He credited my card with the initial charge and didn't even want to pay for me to return it. I threw it in the trash. Be careful (on this site) when making a decision on buying anything for your ride regardless of how much the poster hypes it up. Consider PM'ing members, whose posts you consistently find informative, valued and credible, for their advice. Sorry you have to deal with this frustration.

Most of the CF M5 diffusers are the 2X2 weave. There's the DTM and 3D style. You're gonna pay at least $700 bones. Mod bargains has both diffusers. Same price for each. There is a disclaimer on their site saying that it is not an OEM product and there will be some sanding and filling to complete the installation. I've read from a lot of others that said the CF do not fit as good as the stock M5 diffuser. It comes down to how picky you are and what you want to pay. For a stock diffuser and to have it painted you're looking at $450 and a perfect fit.

It's just how it is; $600 isn't much considering I spent well over 1000+ on my Vorsteiner diffuser and it has a few gaps and keeps "popping" out of place after 65mph.
Luckily the diffuser is CF/dark and it's better than having body colored diffusers where the gaps would show even more. |

Exactly what he said!! Oneighty are the ones who installed this piece is shit. It dosnt look TERRIBLE, BUT for the price I paid I expect t to be at lease 9/10... Right now it's 6.5/10 AT BEST. That's me being generous. |

check out my diffuser...
http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=835325 Bro, you don't need to spend $1200...I bought mines (Vorsteiner style) from one of the vendors here and fitment is about 90% to 95%. for 1/3 the price, I'm good. Cuz I had enough $ to buy a front lip and a spoiler. So for less than $1200, got a diffuser, front and rear spoiler. |
