copying/importing music to a specific folder on hard drive - how?

copying/importing music to a specific folder on hard drive - how?
I have specific folders on the HD, for example USB1, USB2, I have not renamed them yet. Within US2, I have a music folder. I was able to add/import additional songs to this music folder in USB2 a while back, however I can not remember how. No matter what I try, it imports the music as a separate folder, for example, USB3, USB4, etc. Anyone know what the steps are to copy my songs to that specific music folder?
