Hey guys

I'm about to order a 528xi. I live in Canada and 2wd would be dumb because of winter.

But it seems like no one makes a coilovers for the XI...

Anyone know something I don't?

What are my options for regular lowering springs? I like my cars very low and this is very disappointing to me...

I have already done the research for the last 2 years and had given up. If you are thinking of using the 'Regular' version of the coilover, the front geometry is slightly different on the Xdrive, therefore, be careful.

Nobody will make it for the xdrive. Initially, KW was testing it last year and they decided to abandon the coilover for the xdrive early this year as they determined there is no market demand for it. I had spoken to KWUSA, KW Germany and vendors in both UK and US and they confirmed it will not be made at all.

As for just the lowering springs, ACS seems to be the crowd favorite here in this forum.

I lowered my 330ix, it chewed up the front suspension in one year. So beware.

ACS is the favorite here (only 1" drop) and H&R's are the lowest you can buy.

I've been talking to the guys from CKS for a while now and they are finally ready to realeased coilovers for xDrive F10, ready to ship November 10th.

Not sure about you but I'm frighten extatic about it.

I have been talking to them about a group buy but not sure what the regulations in the board are for this.

Check with KW - I inquired on 550ix and they do have a setup now, just released a month or so ago - it's the v3 though

Give these guys a call! They gave me a excellent price on my KW1's for my 535 and before the snow melts I'll be placing my order!
