Has anyone gotten the S1 update on the 2012/2011 535? They claim a gain of about 55hp which seems to be too high for just a software update. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Dinan S1 is not released for F10's N55 yet. 55hp gain is not unreasonable for the N55, as the N55 comes with an efficient twin scroll turbo that's under-utilized out of the factory.

Burger Tuning stage 1 should also get you 50hp and 60tq to the wheels. You can get a bit more with high-flow air filter, down pipe, and exhaust.

55 is not too high at all. On my e60 I had a tune and exhaust only pushing me closer to 80+hp. 55 on tune only is about normal for these cars.

thx for the feedback. Any preference on Dinan S1 (once it's out) vs. Burger Tunes? I would just like to know which one is more compatible without giving any error codes.
