Wing

First off, I'm all about customizing your car the way you like and I try not to judge and hate on something that others find appealing. Maybe I'm getting old and not up to speed with the 'coolness' factor but what do you think about this guy's rear wing? It's like a M4 GTS on steroids. You can see that his bumper is actually cut to support the arms. When I was next to him, he even started revving his engine in bumper to bumper traffic.....like we're gonna race or something.

Maybe with the wing, if he revs his car enough, the car will take off like an airplane?

So back in my import days or the Fast n Furious era big wings were the biggest trend and I had them on my cars when I use to compete...but it was cool back than. Up until the JDM era the big wing just got old and everybody started talking crap about them and how they would call it a shopping cart on back of the car. So I really thought that died out. But...I've been seeing lately it's been making a comeback but this time bigger than ever! I don't get it? First it was cool...than ridiculous... dies out for at least 5 years and now it's back and now on high end cars like BMW'S, Ferrari's and Lambo's! Personally I'm 50/50 on this...ahhh the memories!

You guys are looking at this all wrong. That's not a car with a large wing, it is an airplane with a small wing. So from that perspective, the wing is very conservative.

So his wing has a wing, one more and he'll be driving a 'dreidecker'.

I have no problem judging and saying it looks stupid. Thanks for the laugh.

You're way too nice, I judge, especially things like this.
I mean how do you look at that and go "that's pretty cool man, I see what you were going for".

How do you say that to an owner of a Ferrari or Lambo tho?

I would have to stop laughing before I could say it with a straight face. It would depend if owner asked my opinion; I would less likely volunteer my criticism.
