What is this button?

Will get a pic up from my desktop, but there is a small circular button about the width of a pencil directly under the climate control dial for the driver's side of my 2014 535i. I don't think it's a blank as it seems to depress. The passenger side climate control dial does not have one.

I checked the owner's manual but couldn't find an answer.

Anyone know what this might be?

It's a interior temperature sensor for the auto climate control. Try to keep it clean and unobstructed so the air system could regulate your interior temperature to your settings.

The system only needs one sensor for the whole car.

it's actually the flux capacitor button. it's what makes time travel possible in case you didn't know. don't press it too many times as the dealer only allows 5x allowable useage under the CPO warranty. after that you'll have to make deals with the Iranians for plutonium and with Trump in office that may be hard to come by someone correct me if i'm wrong or i heard you can go to your local Home Depot and ask for "BOB" and he can definitely hook you up! just helpin' out my fellow members here

I own a 2011 535i thats been in an accident. I bought the car for $6,200 and it cost me about $11,000 after repairs and such. I want to either start tunning it and put some mods or grab a 2012 550i. What would you guys recommend?

Probably a better idea to start a new thread rather post in this one.
