retrofitting TPMS

I have a April 2011 build Canadian spec 550i MSport without TPMS that I would like to retro fit TPMS. Does anyone know what needs to be done ie modules added, recoding and obviously adding sensors? Would this bean easy task or should I not bother?

Thank in advance.

There are external kits available, but they aren't gonna work with Idrive. I would talk to the parts dept to see what is involved, maybe other Canadians can chime in here.
