Advice needed - BMW 535d with Active Drive
Hi
I currently drive a 2012 530D F10 without active drive. I am tempted in PX the 530D for a 2013 535D with Active Drive and HUD, I will have to pay 3k deposit and £75 more a month on HP. The question is if the 535D with Active Drive and HUD is worth the extra money or should i use the money and change the suspensions on the 530d? Any body here with Active Drive and is it "Amazing" compared to normal setup? thanks |

I can't comment as regards active drive as I don't have it although others on this forum do rate it highly. (I'd certainly try it out next time I buy a BMW)
Re the HUD, yes a very good feature and I wouldn't want to buy a car without it now. One of those bits of technology that once you've experienced it, you think - "why don't all cars have this?" Readable in all conditions and focused on the end of the bonnet, its just so good.Various displays depending upon what kit the car has ie speed limit display, acc, lane departure warning. Not sure if entertainment list came in for that year or whether that was later. (can be coded if you have a certain level of firmware) plus of course sat nav directions. |
