Electronic Brake/Auto Hold doesn't work
after disconnecting the electronic cable to the parking brake actuator it no longer works. I get a the words Autohold with a line through it, and it says to wear seats belts and close doors. What gives? Anyone else have parking brake issues?

If you've ever changed your pads, then you've come up against this issue. Dealer says they need to hook up a computer to my car to reset the electronic brake/EMF (Autohold) feature. Just wondering if anyone ever accomplished this themselves without having to go to the dealer.

Well, the problem fixed itself. While a SA at the dealer told me they need to hook a computer to my car to reset, when I finally drove my car more than 10 feet this AM the Auto Hold function started working again. All is well, and no trip to the dealer required.
