It can be done.. But they will probably charge you again..u can do it yourself also. Some shops are about $$$ than the actual results. Check out my diy if your thinking about doing yourself..

i was able to make the diffuser fit better. Ended up removing the tow hook cover and snapped the diffuser into place while applying a downward pressure from the tow hook area. It snapped in and looks much better!

Such a great relief, glad to know that with slight adjustment to installation techniques, the fitment is now amazing

how did you fix your gaps between the trunk deck lid and the bumper? It is touching, just below the license plate in this photo:

was working on my rear bumper this weekend, my 1st test fit did the same thing... my fix was simply sliding the cover back and then ensuring the center lip was properly inserted into the channel/slot that goes down the middle.

Just fixed mine and fits 100% if you have the trunk sensor under the car you would have to remove that to fit perfect that's what I did. Anyway that shit it's pointless never use it, even if you try to use it you can't get your foot on the right direction for the trunk to open.

Question, everyone here has the MSport Rear Bumper. Does anyone know if the standard bumper, non-Msport, if we can remove the diffuser and replace just diffuser or does the entire bumper need to be replaced with M-Sport. Meaning is the diffuser itself removable on the standard bumper-F10. I ask because on our F30, 3 series, I recall the standard bumper diffuser cannot be replaced.

The diffuser can only be removed on the M-Sport bumper

Thanks Twelve, too bad someone hasn't designed a diffuser to snap or screw into place if the old one on the base bumper was cut out but I guess that would leave a potential mess if the cuts weren't exact.
