With the cost of gas/diesel as high as it is, that's not unusual. But I'm preaching to the choir, right?

haha, most boat owners aren't going to let that stop them, the boats the size they are in that picture, people use them as cotages and take them out only a hand full of times per month maybe....

and you guys have it good for fuel prices.... Regular gas in Canada today would be $4.83/galon in the states not sure what exchange is right now, but i think we are pretty close to dollar for dollar..

I fill up at about $5.70 per gallon when i do 94 octane. (usually) so when i go to the states i make sure i top up before crossing back to canada, it's about a 10$ difference on either side of the border... at least.

the boat fuel will be a little less then 94 octane, but about equivilent to whatever high grade or 91 is costing anywhere.

fixing your white balance would help remove the yellowish.

I assume you shot this handheld? What was your shutter speed?

check the EXIF. I recommend increasing the ISO so you can increase the shutter speed for a sharper image.

haha, the whole country rioted anyhow when we won....

I was in Toronto the day after the Canada US game, and was talking to a server at a restaurant downtown and they said half the windows on the first floor were replaced during the night.

aparently seeing as we "seem" like a reserved country.... We like to let loose once in a while...

I guess the last time the Vancouver was close, there was a riot too. And then back when Montreal had a good team, they had lots of riots as well.

So it's really nothing new to us.

if you go into your menus in your camera, you will find a custom setting for white balance, i find it you turn it down to 2500K or 2600k, it will start making normal colours at night, and then you won't have to do as much in your post processing.

I'm not sure i like this method, so i may start shooting RAW + S low quality just so i can index pictures and not have to depend on processing to have something to show.

I'd rather just not show mine-failures
I used to have the small JPEGs but gave that up because it doubled the images upon review and I ended up deleting some of the RAW files instead of the JPEGs.
You can always just use one of the converters to view the RAW file images SOTC on the computer, works for me. Delete the crap and process the rest.

Great job with the Photoshop Weebl...you beat me to it!
I also have a plug-in/convertor for windows that allows me to preview the CR2/RAW files and delete unwanted photos prior to processing with Camera Raw/PS....

I've debated a few alternatives. Haven't come to a choice. most likely just throw the whole batch in lighroom and do a mass process without alteration just so i have them in a JPEG format.

What program is this that does that? Sounds like a good way to go.

I've been looking for something like that. So you can see CR2 files in Windows Explorer? Got a link to the plugin?
