520D Luxury 66 plate loads of issues after advice.

Hello,
After a bit of advice bought a 66 plate 520d luxury estate June the 22nd 2017 and since i have had it has been into BMW think now 6 times and all i get is hassle the idea was it was meant to be more reliable than the Vauxhall Insignia that i had but turns out not to be reliable although i do get a hire car when it goes into the garage, i just dont trust the car now and i have my kids every other weekend the past 2 times its played up i have had to drive the car to servicing and get a hire car however it is always closed on a sat and seem to have arguments about the sales to accept the key or car as on a different site but part of the same dealer. The car has a deposit of around £7000 on it and it is on PCP i just dont think the car is fit for purpose i do approx 25k miles a year. SO is there a way of getting out of the contract etc and getting back my deposit. I still pay for the car monthly.

Thanks

Some details of what the issues are would be useful.

However, you're past the point at which, under the CRA, you can legally reject the car.
So no, you'd not be able to get your deposit back, and you'd have to negotiate with the dealer (or BMW) to be able to get out of the agreement early.

Not good to read your disappointment. What has been wrong, that has cost your trust in the car? Has your BMW dealer been fixing the issues? Or are you having repeated issues of the same fault(s)?

Have you had a 'one to one' with the Dealer Principal? That's where I'd start if I was having severe and/or unresolvable issues.

issue

well from what i remember i had an egr valve issue, turbo sensor, turbo split pipe, water coolant level low, the most recent was mas flow sensor and they changed the turbo seal i think then 2 weeks later same issue and again service guy said it is the air flow mass sensor. just gone in now to be fixed. Any more advice would i have to take back the car to the same dealer it was bought from, i have raised a complaint about the general issues. Think just want to get shot of the car actually of put by BMW's now. Sure it is not fit for use etc?

I wouldn't have thought so either, but with those faults it sounds like it's been round the clock

You don't have to take it back to the same dealer but you may find you have more leverage with the dealer you bought it from. People do have issues with these cars from time to time but there are many of us out there who have been delighted with them. Take the advice of others here and have a sit down with the Service Manager or Service Manager and Dealer Principal together. This has worked for me in the past (one time just after I bought my F11 back in 2011 I had a couple of issues).
