£340, that'll be just the parts, add a couple of '0's & you shouldn't be far off

well that's confirmed it was a good decision to get the service pack!

Still sounds like a lot, didn't think it would be more than £200

If this is your first service, can't you still get the service pack? I did that, but I'm not in the UK though.

Thank God for the service pack! £340+ for a service!!
I paid for the Service Pack in cash rather than added it to the finance agreement, with interest on top it would have made the service pack cost rather pointless.

yes £400 seems like a bargain now!
(I think its gone up to £450 now?)

Looks like it pays for itself on the second service.

It's now £525. For me it would only cover the first two services, since you get 50,000 miles and the service interval is 19,000.

The way BMW service is structured you have oil services, vehicle checks and brake fluid changes. All of these are covered in the service inclusive package...

So unless you do ridiculously low miles or plan on changing the car within two years it's not worth not getting the package. However when buying used I discounted all vehicles without the service pack so resale is also a consideration

https://www.bmw-service.co.uk/

Engine Oil service (Oil & Filter) = £126

Engine oil service with microfilter = £263

Engine oil service with microfilter, air filter and fuel filter = £433

Was at my local dealer too.

I'm low mileage in my 535i and have the service pack, (part of the AUC deal).

I've just had my 4-year 'big' service (at less than 26k miles) in the 535i. Included vehicle check, oil service, all filters (including air filter), brake fluid, sparking plugs. Asked the Service Advisor what it would have cost me if I was paying, just under £700 including VAT. We are cheaper up here for hourly rates, so what that would be in the south, I dread to think.

As my service pack was taken up after the car was one year old, I should get another oil service, micro filters and brake fluid change before the pack expires. I estimate my service pack will cover about £1,500 worth of servicing on the 535i. (3 oil services, 2 brake fluid changes, vehicle checks and all the other odd bits).

so an air & fuel filter sum to £170 ... WALOB !

The Microfilter has long been a pet hate of mime when they used to change w/o asking ... similarly when they used to put gold plated washer fluid in the 2 seperate reservoirs FFS !
