Sports Seats

I took delivery of my 525d SE last week; I specified Sports seats but these don't have the adjustable side bolsters which the BMW configurator suggests they should have. Has anybody else got this problem?

Are the adjustable bolsters a new feature in the 5-series? I'm unaware of sport seats having this feature.

I thought you needed comfort seats for all the fancy adjustment features?

The sports seats in my 2010 e90 had adjustable side bolsters but for the sport seats in my 2015 F10 BMW added electric adjustment (but no memory) and removed the side bolster adjustment which is crackers, they give with one hand and take away with the other

I had the adjustable bolsters in my E91. I've the full electric sports seat option in my F11, no bolster adjustment. Never seen any reference to them either, other than on the comfort seat upgrade.

My seats have electric almost everything including the headrest (pointless imho) and the lumbar support pump thing which I still can't decide how to actually use correctly

no side bolsters either though

Screenshot from the configurator states that the backrest width is adjustable; this is exactly what it said when inspected my car back in August.

Oh well that makes it all ok then; I'm relieved I didn't order Heads Up Display otherwise I might have got a Garmin gaffer taped to the inside of the windscreen.

Raised the matter with a BMW genius yesterday who gave me the details necessary to raise a formal complaint.
