Playing Movies From Harddrive Using USB Slot??
So the car has a usb slot in the center console.. has anyone tried using an external harddrive to watch movies??
i know the external hd works to play music but im having trouble trying to play movies in PARK with the PARKING BRAKE ON.. i have movies on my external hd in mp4 and divx format.. any suggestions besides dvdinmotion?? |

As far as I know you have to get the Media Adapter to play movies from your phone - and then only MP4 files. I do not think it is possible to play movies (besides DVD:s) in other formats or from a hard drive...

You can use an external drive for music, that works. I have a 32G flash drive in my car for that. Just not movies I guess.
