window trim replacement on '16 528i

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with replacing the window trim on the 2016 5 series models? I recently purchased a 2016 528i and the car is perfect with the exception of the driver-side aluminum trim that is all scratched up. I purchased a replacement piece through BMW but want to see if this is something I can do myself rather than pay BMW the labor. Does anyone have experience with this? I attached a photo also. Here is a link to Youtube for an older 5 series. Take a look, it should be similar still.
