Where does this live?
Found this whilst cleaning car?
I know what it is just don't know where to plug it in. Car still works fine apart from a random remote not present error after switching on car. |

Did you pull up the diagram on one of the online part database sites? If not, it shows the locations for the CA interior aerials. Did one of them fall out or is this an old one that was replaced at some point?
BTW...you probably can also find the location if you use the TIS website, too. Type in the last 7 digits of your VIN...then type something like "comfort access interior aerial" in the search box. Example using a generic 535iT (F11) search on the TIS website...it gives the location of the interior aerials: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...i-tou/DgqQTzCF (did you find it near any of the listed locations?) {rear interior aerial location E22} {front interior aerial location E84} {rear cargo (luggage) interior aerial locations E28 & E36}

So based on qsilver7's post looks like it's related to your comfort access issue.

I saw this part when I was changing my cup holders (auto trans). If you remove the cupholders, you'll see it attached to the back of them.
