2011 535i xdrive - rattling noise

Our 2011 535i xdrive has 35.000 km and in the last few months I've noticed a rattling sound on the left side (I suspect the front tyre). It's hard to describe the sound. It sounds like the tyre is loose and the faster you go more commonly the noise appears (I'm sure no tyre is actually loose). At speeds up to 80km/h you barely hear it, but once you're on a autobahn at speeds from 140km/h and above it starts to get louder. It's not a metal sound nor a plastic sound. Does anyone know what could it be?

Could be a bad wheel bearing or possibly a bent rim or a bubble in the tire

The dealer found out it was a bent rim on the inside. Ordered a new one. The cause was probably because of our horrific Slovenian roads...
