New iPhone App
New BMW app popped up today. Installing it caused it to complain that my PIN was wrong and necessitated a full rest.
Still it's a nice app and very useful for finding a place on the iPhone and sending it to the nav system. |

Use 'Local Search', click on one of the drop pins and if you then click of the arrow you have the option to 'send to vehicle'
Local search is somewhat of a misnomer unless you get specific about the address, otherwise you'll be presented with search results in Australia, California etc for something thats a mile away! |

Ports to other O/S?
Wonder if BMW will get any of the other operating system purveyors to make the app available. I've got a new Nokia N8 running Symbian ^3 that is eminantly capable of complex interations via the internet.
Anyone know? |
