Bam, Passat kisses my wife's mint e90 328i
My wife calls me today just as I am getting in my car to head home, "I just got in an accident" me, "WHAT? Are you ok?" Her, "well yeah.,But the car," me, "as long as you are ok, it's fine." It takes me 30 minutes to get to the scene on the autobahn just in time to hear Polizei say, not her fault. The good news is, right side fine and rear bumper not touched, everything else on the drivers side including drivers front wheel scratched and dented. My wife is all devastated about her poor Franzel. When I got her home I had to take off the drivers door panel and use a block of wood and hammer to knock out the door handle enough to close the window and some gorilla tape to hold the mirror on till it gets repaired.
Soon it will be good as new again but it is sad to see such a pristine car damaged. It is a 2011 Premium, M-sport, Titan silver, 6mt, saddle brown interior. Guess she will be driving my 335i for a couple of weeks.

Pics as promised. Damage is estimated at $7.5k
Mirror is only tapped on to drive it to the shop as the mount is completely shattered. I have to say, those little side signals are tough little buggers.. didn't even crack!

Glad everyone is okay... espically on the Autobahn. Must of been on a restricted section.
I've seen a Mercedes Estate shortened up to a VW Polo in an unrestricted section. |

Other drivers insurance company questioned our repair estamated and had an independent adjuster also give an estimate... They screwed up.. He estamated the damage about 2.5k € higher than my shop.. LoL
