Hey guys,

I am planning on buying some F14 super deep concaves all around for my carbon black F10. My only problem is I can't decide on the color. Im really torn between silver, brushed silver, and gloss black. I know a lot of people went with gunmetal but I'm not crazy about it...I've looked at hundreds of pics online but still really can't pick one. I like the gloss black but I'm thinking it might be too much being that my car is basically black when not in the sun. Anybody have any input on this as to your choice in color and if you would've chosen any different ?

I was between gloss black and brushed gold. Went gloss black. This is my 2nd set too

I think a bit of contrast would look best. Silver or gunmetal. I have a black F10 with silver F14s. Thinking of getting them powder coated gunmetal for a change.

What ever you choose, stay away from flat black! Mine turned an ashy grey color after a year and they look like crap! I properly cleaned them with non abrasive wheel soap made for matt finished coatings. Now Im going to have them acid dipped and re powder coated semi gloss. Good luck!

I'm torn between a similar setup but with the bronze color and everything else, but gloss black. If I go anything other than bronze, I'd do the calipers in bronze/copper. Not sure what I'd do with a bronze wheel though. I have a black 535 and the gloss black looks too matchy matchy for me.

i'd rock the Satin Black color if i didn't go with the Bronze finish!

I say brushed or gloss. Matte finishes tend to look cheap when dirty, like a bad plasti dip job. Go with a higher end finish, you'll be happy you did.

I don't recommend matt/flat black, im not sure if its the coatings they use or if the heat from the brakes or the sun that makes them look faded, what ever it is they are a bitch to keep clean and look like the second pic after cleaning. Also want to mention I cleaned them properly and regularly, no crazy solvents, just powder coat safe soap and water.

Completely disagree! Mine are Matte Antique Bronze finish! Had them going on my 3rd year. No problem whatsoever but than again I sealed them with Dr Beasley's Matte Spray Sealant than followed by CG's JetSeal and than after each wash I use CG's Matte Detailer Spray Sealant to protect the paint from all the harsh outside environments. Even when they are dirty they look pretty sweet... Just looks darker.

I thought about going with Brushed Matte Antique Bronze but it was too bright for me. It almost looked gold. I wanted a Matte finish because with the JetBlack paint it just went hand in hand with each other
