Thanks, that seems about the route I'm going to go. One thing I'm not sure about is claying the car. It's got tons of junk all over the paint and little yellow dots all throughout. My car is white and it looks so shitty. Anyway, I have a fresh clay bar at home but I've also been reading about nanoskin pads that you use with the DA polisher and supposed to work just as good if not better because it's way faster. We'll see. Good luck car looks amazing so far

All that crap on your car is just build up of contaminants. Use a lot of detailed spray when you clay. Feel the surface as you go as it'll feel like sandpaper at first and when you clay it'll start to feel smooth like butter. Just spray and clay as you go. I've read a lot of things about pads and just make sure you use the right color pads for the Polish your using. Don't know much about those nanoskins I'll have to check those out. I only went with Hexlogic because it seemed most guys out there uses them with great results. Faster isn't always necessary better.

Did you use the V32 just over the scratch and then V34 on the rest of the panel or V32 on the whole panel? I have a number of fine scratches like that I want to get rid of when the time comes, but want to make sure I do it right.

Those little yellow dots are actually metal contamination that has landed on the paint and has started to rust. An easier way to remove those is with a product like Carpro Iron X which dissolves the metal contamination without any rubbing needed. I use this product on both my and my wife's white cars and it dissolves all of those annoying yellow dots.

Those tiny yellow dots might be iron fallout that's rusted in the paint, I use some iron fallout remower to get ride out it.

Edit: I see DDD31 beat me to it.

Where are the metal contaminants coming from...other cars? Can this product be used on somewhat rusty bumpers? I got some showing on my front and rear bumper of my Nissan Titan. Either use that and plastidip or order new bumpers?

So just on the fender I used V32. With the fine scratches I would use the white hexlogic pad and V36

I'm going to order this EcoSmart Waterless car wash as it's going to not only save water but time. I've watched enough videos and if guys with Lambos and Ferrari's will use it so will I! For $88 the dilution ratio is 16:1! Do you know how much money and water I can save!
At first I was skeptical because how can you wipe of dirt without getting scratches? But for some reason this waterless system you can! So I'll have to try it and report back. Anyone already trying this...please chime in with your experience or if you don't think this will work also please chime in

Evaporative air cooler. IE...space A/C. They are ridiculously effective. That one costs about $250.

Unless you live far from any large cities, it's from industrial fallout. Iron-X mostly just works with contaminants on the surface of the paint rather than corroded metal. Iron-X also works on wheels too but it's a little pricey to use as a wheel cleaner.

One thing I forgot to mention, Iron-X works great but it smells like death even with the cherry or lemon scent.

Same here, I've also been using a California Duster for years. Works great if the car is a little dusty and you don't want to spend the time quick detailing or washing it.

alright good to know you guys have no issues with the Cali Duster

so being in Ohio where it's pretty much country in my area there's $hit load of bugs at night going home when i work 3rd's and my front bumper just looks like a graveyard plus i notice i've got tar spreckles and what not on my wheels. nothing noticeable but when i was washing them the other day i notice tar or black dots on my wheels. it rubbed off but i had to work them a bit so along with the EcoSmart Waterless car wash i ordered CG's Bug & Tar Remover and i also picked up 3 Professional Chemical Resistant Heavy Duty Bottle and Sprayer
