My A/C in My 2015 BMW 535i makes a constant mechanical like noise. Shut it off and it stops. Sounds like an old A/C trying to adjust vent openings but never succeeding. It is in the dash and really noticeable sitting in the car with no stereo on and engine running.

Anyone heard this one. Did a search with no luck.

not sure the noise its making but mine was making a nice as well, would get louder as the fan would get higher in speed, it was under warranty so they took some stuff apart and cleaned it and gone the sound it was.

Do you mean that a noise is coming from the HVAC control panel? Perhaps the sampling fan that draws air in to have the temperature measured? With a 2015 I'd say just take it in.
