F11 front ET on 20x9" wheels
Hi there!
I have a question about the ET on my F11. I have 20x9" ET 35 in front and i want to space them out a bit. Is it to aggressive with 10mm Spacer to get ET 25 ? I have 20x10,5" ET 38 rear and its perfect. Best regards Thomas |

ET25 will be fine, I got ET26 with 255/35/20 tires.

I have the same specs in the front (20x9 +35, 255/35/20) and I'll be going with a 10mm spacer soon. Im also lowered on coilovers, I do sit a bit lower than lowering springs so the wheel sinks in more.

thanks so much for the answer. Remmib nice car you have! By the way are you satisfied with your ET26 in the front? or would you like to have it down to ET25 or a little bit lower? which brand of spacers would you recommend buying? i have been looking at Burger Motorsports and Macht Schnell spacers 10mm with bolts

Problem with 10mm spacers is that the hub can break off, happened to one pair I had (with me winters), changed to 12mm.

Its lowered with the h&r kit 35mm front which when you take the msport springs into account only works out about 10mm drop-hardly noticable in my opinion. Rear is lowered with drop links around 15-20mm and im happy with that. Good luck with the spacers though, and get some pics up when its done

I'm pretty sure the M sport suspension only lowers the f10/11 by 10mm.

I think it would be a plan to fit adjustable coilovers to the front in the future, but might save them till i eventually get my hands on a 535d

Then i can go with 35mm lowering springs and get a 25mm drop. I dont want the car get slammed too mutch too the ground due to the all season driving with family, dog and all. If it gets too low my wife will go like.. then I cant decide about the spacers, Was thinking 5mm, then 10mm and now 12mm Lets say i go for the 25mm lowering, how many mm will the wheel sink in you think ? |
