New Service Bulletin for N63?

Just brought my 2012 550ix back from having the battery replaced (another month, another service visit). The dealer did some programming that looks related to something other than simply installing the battery. The code is SIB 12-45-15, and the description is "C 10012100400 E7x F0x F1x N63 US Steuergerte programmieren".

Does anyone know what this relates to? Is it a new approach to the repeated N63 problems?

Well, not surprisingly, the info I've received from the dealer is vague:

"computer patch for the dme - engine control module, that controls the fuel delivery, - the update was a small patch to avoid a future possible issue before it has a chance to occur."

Maybe as this is applied to more cars, other SAs will give more complete information.
