How much should i pay for my 528i (Australians)?
Hey Guys,
I have been looking for a car and the 5 series has caught my attention, it looks amazing and i am planning to purchase the 528i. The listed price on BMW.com.au is AU$110,011.26 (Yes, we are very unlucky) My budget is around the 100k point can I get this model with options for this? Also i've never driven anything over 4.6 Metres in length and seeing this is 4.9 will i have trouble adapting to it? Will it be hard to drive? Thank You. |

That said I don't think I would like to be driving my 520d Touring during rush hour on some of those very narrow roads heading out of the CBD (and even in the suburbs) where they've squeezed 3 tight lanes into the space of 2 (particulalry considering how aggressive the driving is with lane chopping and changing all the time). You'll just want to be a bit cautious. Be sure and get the sports auto option IMO. You'll want the responsiveness. Also (if it's available) consider the 520d. Plenty of performance for the roads there; over 1000km on a full tank and excellent economy. |

It's not so much the driving but the parking that you have to be prepared for. It is hard to see out of this car and it is difficult to park in small parking spaces like the ones they have in Europe and many other places in the world. I don't have particularly strong memories of tight parking places in Australia but still - keep this in mind before you purchase.
