Hey guys was thing about buying the bms tuner for my 2013 550i x drive and I just have a few questions!?
1- if removed from car will bmw know it was in there? (Void my warrantee) ?
2- how easy is install?
3- should I do stage 1 or 2 ? My car is stock !
And is the power gains really noticeable if all u have is a 550 with a bms tune ? Thanks guys I appreciate all input!!

After multiple emails with Terry at BMS I finally pulled the trigger on the Stage 1 tune. Should be here Friday so I will let you know what I think.

Answers as follow:

1. Nope, they wouldn't notice any vestige of the tune at all. Warranty will not be voided; many of us have been serviced without any hiccups so no worries here.

2. Very easy depending on your dexterity. Try using a small flathead or purchase a pick tool to further assist you for an easier installation. Other than that, some have found their first time took anywhere from 10-30min to complete.

3. Stage 2 is a beast man haha. Yeah, its quite noticeable, but that's contingent on your expectations and what is realistic to you.
