Can't decide on color!

I'll be ordering a 550ix with M-sport. I'll be adding matte black 20" CF10 Forgestars, Hamann front lip, Vorsteiner diffusor and M-Performance trunk spoiler...all in CF.

I am having a tough time deciding on color. Though I know I'll be going with Mocha interior.

The car will be a daily driver and it will see the car wash on a regular basis as my schedule and my OCD ways won't allow me the time to handwash. And I live outside Philly...so we get some snow, some heat, some rain...a little bit of it all.

So... What color would YOU choose? Any input is GREAT!!

Space gray... Silver... Or white.

Space gray with tinted tai lights and black accents looks amazing! I recommend googling cars and checking out people's pages to get a taste.

I just ordered a 2014 550xi m sport in black. I personally love black cars.. A bitcht To keep clean tho.

White,,,easy to keep clean, shows very little salt and almost no swirl marks if you do not hand wash it all of the time. Although, mine has yet to see an automatic car wash.

I know guys... The auto car wash is a big no-no to auto enthusiasts... But for my daily, it's the only way for me personally.

Agree with this sentiment, hence on my second Space Grey now, perfect and looks great, I had black leather, now oyster, although very nearly went mocha!

Dark Graphite Metallic. Another member on this forum, Vinfast, has sick Dark Graphite 550 msport with mocha interior. Great color combo.

No they are tail lights but with a tint to them. See below

Interesting....

Though, I've always been partial to the standard red tail lights for their pure and simple functionality.

I'd rather customize my ride in other, more prominent ways.

Silver is too common. White is too dangerous (more accidents in white than any other color)

Brown and space gray look fantastic under low light conditions. But, under sunlight these colors fail.

Black is very authoratative. The metallic black is easy to keep clean. Plus metallic black is one of the easiest colors to match at bodyshop if you get hit. But, black runs 10 degrees or more hotter in the summer and this will shorten engine and electronics life.

If you are only keeping the car for a short time, then black is the way to go!

While it may be true that White has more accidents than any other color - that would ONLY be because it is the most popular color. Ultimately, white is one of the safest colors - although from a statistical standpoint they are all the same.

To me, I think Gray/silver cars blend into the road more - but even that is not proven.
