for you people that have coilovers.....

I am looking to lower my car on coilovers but am concern about front tire inner wear since the camber cant be adjusted. For you people that have coilovers, how's your front tire wear? Did you have to get a camber kit?

Not a problem at all, I've got even front tire wear. I've got more inner wear in the rear though.

Haven't really meatured, but a little over 1.5 I'd say. There's no wheel gap.

Key thing is the alignment, a good shop will give you the option of doing an alignment for performance or for maximum tire life...if you choose the latter, then i'd imagine they can set everything so that you don't have any camber etc...

exactly! when i went to GermanPros they asked me how i wanted my alignment set? i told them i wanted to get the wheels as centered as possible to prevent inner tire wear. because i'm on 21's if i had too much camber my rims would literally be inches from road contact

How is this possible when the front camber can't be adjusted?

What kind of lip is that? I have a non- msport and don't want to spend too much for the conversion. So planning on just getting a lip. Can you send me full pics of your car with the lip?

You can text them if possible

How does the f10 ride over poor roads with coilovers? What do you guys think of bilstein sport struts with ACS springs? Maybe koni struts?

I drive over some pretty bad roads on part of my commute to work and they're just fine. The thing about the KW's is the coilover was designed as a whole. The springs rates are design to match perfectly with the shock. So no need to figure which springs work best for which shocks.

very true - an incorrect spring to damper pairing is what can make or break a good coilover setup. I have heard good things about KW. I know that ACS springs with bilstein sport is a really good pairing and that should ride comfortable. I read a review with this setup over at bimmerfest and the guy was praising them for making his BMW handle properly again and that the ride wasnt harsh at all.

I have heard mixed reviews about koni, but I am sure they are a fine damper. its all about what spring you use. I would probably stay away from H&R unless you need a track setup.
