How do I test exhaust flaps?

Installed a set of m5 mufflers on my 550i. I reconnected vacuum lines via extra lines and a plastic connector. How can I test if they are operational while a stationary position?

Setup:
M5 mufflers with vacuum lines intact
Resonator delete with X-Pipe

Have someone rev the car and stand behind it to see if they open. Im not 100% positive, but boost obviously kicks in when revving and they are actuated from that so it should work.

Did you use the x pipe from the M5 fatback?? or just used the m5 mufflers and had a custom x pipe put in

I just had the mufflers installed after the stock 550i resonators and chopped off the stock resonator and replaced with an x-pipe.

Just want to make sure my new vacuum line connection works properly.
