anyone notice the first picture is "normal height" and the side profile picture is dropped, there is no gap in there?

Sure...
only difference is the Genesis has about a foot more plastic in the front bumper than the F10 (LOL).

And they stretched the headlights way down so they would blend in, whereas the 5's look more neat & tidy...

Car and Driver made it seem like they may not have a manual as an option for the V8 TT.

Any word on this?

No manual moving forward on the V8s from everything I have heard... not a huge surprise. Too much torque to warranty a clutch disc for 50k miles and BMW was not going to re-write the warranty and maintenance package for the US market for a few thousand cars a year.

There are a few other things that may annoy people going forward having to do with standard tech invading the cockpit, like the e-brake and certain other things BUT there is a distinct possibility that there will finally be SPORT suspensions on xDrive vehicles-

I have not confirmed this with multiple sources but it makes sense now that ///M has some experience with xDrive and making the suspension geometry work with the AWD systems...I will update as soon as I get more info (may be a while since xDrive is not until next fall).

That's what I wanna hear! My lease ends next year and I can't wait for the next generation of BMW's! Will the LED's be used on the next generation 3 series?

What?

The car will get both the turbocharged 4.4L N63 V8 and the turbocharged 3.0L I6, either the N54 or N55. And yes they will make a whole lot of sense.

Later, there will probably be a turbocharged I4 also, though for the debut it will probably just get the naturally aspirated N52 I6.

The M5 will get some version the turbocharged 4.4L S63 V8 currently found in the X5 and X6 M.

That's US engine lineup. Europe will get lots of diesels as well, and perhaps another less powerful gasoline I6 also.
