Best Way to Mount Front Plate w/o Drilling Holes on the Bumper - Any suggestions?
Any recommendations on the best looking / cleanest way to put on a front license plate without drilling holes on the bumper. I'm currently away from my home state and this place requires front plates. I've seen the tow hitch mount solution. Any opinions / experience with this solution? I would really hate to drill holes and have to deal with getting them patched up in a year when I head back. Photos would be helpful if you have them. Thanks!

I bought this one
http://www.usmillworks.com/Assets/li..._shot_1200.jpg It's still riding around in the trunk. I don't have to mount my plates for another few weeks and I won't do it a day early. There's a video on the usmillworks website that shows how it works. |

Zip ties lower left or if you wanna keep it on the bumper..use 3M velcro..

These look like a good alternative to the tow hook application. The holes are under the lip.

Hahaha... That's livin on the wild side. I'd rather spend the money on tickets for some mods. I might try using screws with butterfly nuts on the lower grill. Anyone tried this? Worst case scenario, I'll order the US Mill plate holder. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!

Asshole at the dealership had the damn bracket drilled into my front bumper when I arrived to pick it up. I was furious. But the holes are already in the bumper.

I emailed the dealership on Friday not to drill holes on the bumper in anticipation of taking delivery of my LCI sometime at the end of the week. They should be receiving the vehicle tomorrow or Tuesday. I even followed up the email with a call and warned them if they drill holes they'll have to patch them up. I'm crossing my fingers.

3M locking velcro tape. Been doing this for years and have yet to lose any plates. Best thing is that i can pop the plate off during photoshoots and back on within seconds.

I always give fair warning ... if a plate bracket is attached to my car on delivery I refuse to accept delivery and insist on a new car ordered ... dealer made the mistake once ... never again after that!

It was the only one within 600 miles. They had to bring this one from a dealership 180 miles away. There was no ordering a new one.

Simple yet quite smart. For something more complex try this. Might work, depending on your individual needs like a fix it ticket. http://www.hidetheplate.com |

I'm seeing the closeup of the LCI M bumper missing the driver side radiator here (the grille is non-functional/closed in that side intake), which the pre-LCI has (it has a radiator behind both functional/open side bumper intakes). So odd that some people report 2 extra radiators still i.e one behind each side intake with functional grilles in front of them on some LCI M Sports and then some have the drivers side closed up with no radiator at all behind it.

Wait, I bought my f10 used with a license plate ready in the front. Does that mean someone drilled into the bumper? I thought they came from the factory like that...
