F10 production run Steering change?

The 2011-2013 BMW F10 models, at any time did they make a steering production update or change? I know the 2013 BMW M5 starting in March 2013 had a steering upgrade or change for better on center tracking or stability, but I wonder if BMW did something similar to the F10 platform.

Thanks for all the feedback in advance.

I just reviewed the LCI on my own. My impression are that the steering changes are almost imperceptibly subtle, though I'm comparing an M suspension car (my own) to a Base suspension car (LCI M Sport until Sept production when they apply the M suspension on those as well). I go into more detail in my thread (on this same forum).

He's asking about pre-LCI steering changes, not LCI.

I had my car (520d 2012) reprogrammed at BMW yesterday and I feel a lot improvment in the steering. It´s better centered while driving straight and a little more resistance when turning the steering wheel, it feels a little bit more like sport setting now. I´m very satisfied with the upgrade.

There is nothing on paper as far as steering change from 2011 to 2013, but that does mean BMW did not change anything steering wise.

Would I be able to ask BMW to update the software for me to provide the better steering centering response?

Ask your dealer, sometimes they are a little restricted by doing the upgrades so try to think of some more problems on other software related issues at the same time.
They upgrade the whole car at the same time and not just the steering unit.
