2013 BMW F10 key fob battery replacement

I notice lately my key not working properly distance I couldn't unlock and lock until I get close to the car.
Today I decide to replace battery No brainer right pop cover off take old battery out put new battery in one minute later job done.
Not so fast wen I got in the car it didn't register I had to put key next to the steering column started no issues
Now I have to do this every time
My comfort aches is not working
Is there way to get this reprogramed with out going to dealer.

Thanks in advance

Try another battery, it should be just that simple.
Yours is defaulting to no battery so you can still start the car.
