Sup guys, my 535i went immediately into limp mode and ran rough after I did a donut in a empty intersection. I only did one donut and I thought my engine seized for a second from known n55 issues with seizing while in high g turns or donuts. But I checked codes and im having fueling errors which doesn’t make sense considering I replaced pumps. My injectors are in relatively good condition still too. I cleared codes a few times and the car would start smooth for a few seconds but then just die. I started it again one more time and the limp mode went away and I was able to drive home with no issues at all and it was butter smooth(40 minute drive). Any ideas what this could’ve been ?? I feel like this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t do a drift, was this a coincidence????

Don't tell your insurance that you did donut. That way you save money to fix things after donut. Lol.

I mean my car is okay now and drives like nothing happened. I just wonder why it went to limp

Low tank of gas? could just be fuel sloshing and you got some air in the line from the donut.

More than likely fuel slosh and lack of fuel in your lines. This isn’t a drift car so be careful.

I had about less than half tank at the time but I believe that is actually what happened considering my car is driving perfectly fine again.
