Squeal on Auto Start/Stop
Not that i love this feature, and this issue only happens when the engine shuts off, but its annoying. any ideas? I'll try to record a clip.
On the bright side its like a mini warning that my engine is gonna shut off

To each their own I guess. Personally I don't want to subject all of those expensive systems to the increased wear & tear for a hypothetically improvement in fuel economy, only to pay real money in repairs. No bueno.

My 2013 535i recently started doing the exact same thing! Squeals only when it's about to Auto stop. If I quickly put it in sport mode the squeal goes away. It's like it's activating something only for the auto start/stop feature but whatever it is, it may be an early sign of something going bad.
