Looks great , congrats! I would do spacers and a drop to finish off the look, oh and the front reflectors gotta go. What exhaust is that? Sweet ride.

Beautiful, and I agree...replace those front reflectors. Do you plan on debadging all that chrome from the rear too? Seems like you did with the side trim.

Deflectors and LED fogs are next on the list. Under the hood lies a BMS stage 1 and eventually ACS springs and spacers are going on as well. Rims were painted gunmetal but I might be switching to black chrome soon. Thanks for the feedback.

That's a custom straight pipe exhaust coupled with Eisenmann replica tips and the M5 diffuser. Also added two magnaflow resonators right before tips and it sounds magnificent!!!! Deep German sound and no annoying drone whatsoever!!!!

At what point do people stop blacking out grills and putting on black wheels? 7 series? Rolls Royce?
I guess I am a purist. I like my BMW as it is. I did tint the windows to protect the interior. To me all of these Mods look like something someone would do on an old Honda Civic or Acura Integra.

We modify our cars because aesthetically it appeals to us!!! Now in your case, I'm sorry I can't take criticism from a 65 year old living in Florida who spent his pension money to buy a GREEN BMW!!! You don't like, don't comment!!! Think about it though........we put black grills and exhausts and you put on bumper guards (you know the ones that look like a floor mat tied with two strings of rope inside the trunk). We are both modding.....just our mods are way cooler!!!!

I think all of this mods are considered modest. Black grills, quad tips, and gunmetal wheels are all things that BMW puts on their own cars.

Haahahahahahha great comeback my friend. At the end of the day it is your car and your money, and if someone thinks modding is lame, they probably should not be in this forum. Most cars here are modded in some form, keep up the good work!

Why so bitter? The adjustments he configured are practically upgrades in lieu of actual mods. Purist? Most of the DTM racing vehicles are what define BMW's "The ultimate driving machine" and they ride fully equipped with black grilles.

It looks NOTHING like a punk Honda or Acura that proceeds in a distasteful manner. Now lets assume he applied some ridiculous BMW Racer/BMW Owner decals located@ the windshield or rear window and transformed the headlight colors to disco setting -- then it translates to the ricer-esque machine.

And to the OP, engaging to his taunts and mockery is just silly -- being spiteful is just as bad. I would just apologize and say sorry I can't cater to your tastes haha. Though, I can't blame you since your shirt was pulled a few times.

Whoa! Ease up Grandpa . Making a statement about your own personal tastes is your entitlement but you should have stopped at "... I did the tint to protect the interior" because the balance of your comments were bordering on offensive. People put themselves out there for us all to either like or dislike but slamming a guy's ride by making reference to cheap arse 'non-european' mods is where we draw the line.

I'm certain BMW themselves would take issue with you about black grilles and black wheels not being puritan as they are genuine OEM options within their product line.

My 550i (rwd) with H&R Springs. Also have 5mm spacers in front and I believe 15 or 20mm spacers in the rear.

Going to be going with coils during the winter. While the drop was a huge improvement over stock, the H&R drop now looks stock-ish to me and deceiving my eyes lol.

Your eyes are DEFINITELY deceiving you!!! Lol, the drop looks amazing, but most important question. How's the ride??? Is it significantly harder?? I want to get the springs but not at the expense of a horrible ride. I have the stock suspension right now which seems kinda soft and boaty at times.

Thank you guys for backing me up!!! I think I tried to be nice and brush it off the first comment around but gramps didn't let it go. I am all for constructive criticism and I value it. For example, since the pics I have color matched reflectors and LED fogs cause I listened to the suggestions of the forum members.
