Digital Speedo

Just came out of an E350 to a 2011 535i.

I had no idea what I was missing! Having blast with new ride.

The E350 had a digital speedometer mode you could call up on dashboard.

I note the 535i has a digital read-out when I set the cruise but it quickly disapperas.

Anyone know how/if that can be set as an everyday speed read-out on dashboard?

Thanks.

Nope, sorry, the dashboard does not have a real-time digital speedo mode. Only "average" speed can be displayed. However, if you had gotten the heads-up display, that does display digital speed in the windshield.

Yes, the only way you can get a digital readout is to have the Heads-up display like I have on my 550i. I've had it on my last two 550i's and once you have it, you always want to have this great option.

I think you can code it with NCS Expert. Look at the coding forums for more info.
