Rear quarter glass heated or aerial?
Hi All,
I picked up my new 2014 520d (B47) M Sport this week & loving it so far The odd thing is that. The passenger side rear quarter glass in the boot looks like it is heated / has an aerial element in it and the opposite side is completely clear. Anyone know what this is? I'll do a bit more of a write up once I've had the car a few weeks. Cheers, Pete. |

Just as a side note the BMW E61 boot liner fits reasonably well. They don't do one for the F11 at the moment. Cheers Last edited by hollpe; 10-03-2014 at 02:53 PM.. |

No idea!
Thinking about it, I assume all aerials are in the shark fin , so if this is not an aerial, it suggest it might be a heating element but then why not on the other pane? Mmmm, see what others think. I've got a F10 so can't compare. |

As above, it's the FM aerial. The glass is not heated.
